Amazon second Australian fulfilment centre in the south-west Sydney suburb of Moorebank, with plans to start operations there in the second half of 2018. The 43,000-square-metre facility is in Centenary Distribution Centre, at 7-21 Centenary Avenue, which is owned and managed by Australia’s largest industrial property developer Goodman.
Amazon Australia operations director Robert Bruce said the new Moorebank facility would add to the capabilities of their first 24,000-square-metre warehouse in Melbourne’s Dandenong South, which opened in December 2017. The new centre would allow them to handle future customer demand and speed up delivery to customers across the country.
EngTec Consulting were responsible for the mechanical ,electrical ,fire and hydraulic services base building design for the complex and fitout for Amazon .
