Since 2017 EngTec Consulting have been upgrading the facilities of Sydney Grammars heritage listed campus in Darlinghurst. The works over the years have ranged from the introduction of air conditioning and ventilation in classrooms and staffing areas whilst maintaining stringent heritage architectural requirements, mains power upgrades and central chilled water plant upgrade incorporating thermal storage.

Other Projects with The Scots College include:

CHILLER PLANT UPGRADE

The existing 650kW air cooled chiller on the College street building was replaced and the chiller plant was modified to incorporate a chilled water thermal storage vessel. As part of the works, the chilled water network was also extended to heritage building H to serve the remodelLed and air conditioned classrooms.
The entire level 4 of the Stanley street building was remodeled to enable open plan offices for school staff. The works required all existing air conditioning systems to be upgraded and replaced to satisfy the revised thermal demands. Due to building limitation and spatial constraints, all of the new air conditioning units were required to be customized. Engtec worked closely with the manufacturer to ensure both spatial and performance requirements were achieved.
